Player Testimonial - Jeaneth Reyes Bnitez

Jeaneth Reyes Benitez

"I’m Jeaneth Reyes, a current sophomore majoring in Applied Mathematics at the College of William and Mary. As a member of the MVP staff, I have worked alongside Coaches Kipi and Ben for the past 5 years. Through MVP training, I didn’t just developed skills for myself, but it also guided me towards gaining something more, the ability to coach and train others from beginner to advanced elite level.

I played recreational soccer since I was 7 years old and didn’t start advanced training until I was 15 years old. After training with Kipi Koduah and Ben Kamara, I began playing with the U19 NVSC Jr Majestics only at the age of 16, a sophomore in high school. I had always been a playmaker with good ball control, capable of playing any position, but MVP training pushed me to surpass my own limitations both physically and mentally. By playing Varsity soccer all four years of high school, travel soccer, and through MVP's training, I was well prepared to play at a collegiate level, with several universities reaching out by my sophomore/junior year. I am currently focused on my academic scholarship at William and Mary but MVP Soccer unlocked many athletic opportunities for me, allowing me to be able to play at any collegiate level if I wanted to.

MVP Soccer training is a mixture of skilled techniques involving speed, quickness, control, and quick thinking. Over the course of one year, I tremendously improved my technical skills, and learned how to best use my mind when anticipating every move I made on the field, making me a better individual and team player. To this day, I’m still learning and it hasn’t just given me the ability to better train myself, but also the capacity to incorporate that same mentality to other young players."
